Literally. I kept throwing extra sweaters and tops in for possible layering of outfits, but I'm not even sure how it all coordinates. I probably have twice as many clothes as I need, and nothing is that nice.

Normally I travel with a duffel bag and garment bag, but this time I started out by putting clothes in a medium-sized suitcase. This soon overflowed to the garment bag.

The duffel was crowded with toilet articles and a ton of reading materials (designed to be thrown out when done - I already started 2 of the magazines). I transferred some reading items to my briefcase/pocketbook to carry on. That meant I had 5 items - suitcase, garment bag, duffel bag, briefcase, and laptop bag. Not good, since over 2 checked bags incur fees (and could possibly not even be allowed if the flight is full).

I could go through the clothes again (do I REALLY need all these sweaters?), but even then I probably would still need the garment bag. What to do?

The duffel bag is very very flexible. My briefcase, even fully loaded, fit inside. Whew!

I had to sacrifice the Puzzle Boat puzzles. Chances are they wouldn't get looked at anyway.

If we manage to get our hands on some of that legendary Sundance swag, I'll be in real trouble baggage-wise. I hear UPS in Park City is ready to box and ship things home.
