Calling off the war on Fresh Direct

This just received at 4:49 from Fresh Direct: "We've issued your credits."

Finally! I guess they realized it wasn't a good idea to poison their customers with frozen food that had defrosted.

If they refused to credit me, my next steps were going to be:

*Remind them how much I've spent at their establishment.

*Have Tyger initiate an inspection.

*Badmouth them via this blog.

*See if I could get someone at that major media power I work at to write them up.

BUT that was not necessary. The credits were issued.

Now, should I ever order anything frozen again? If so, I'm going to immediately check the ice cream pint while the delivery guy is still there, and just hand back the entire frozen bag if it's suspect.

In the meantime, thank you, Fresh Direct! (But watch your back.)
