The Velvelettes (Who?)
As a closet Motown soul sister, I like all the obvious candidates - Stevie, Temps, Tops, Miracles, Jacksons, Marvin, Martha, Marvelettes, Supremes. I'm probably leaving some out. Basically, I like all of them.
One often overlooked Motown group is the Velvelettes. I have the single of "Needle in a Haystack" (1964) and possibly even better is "He Was Really Sayin' Something" (1965). Wooo!
