I read "Teacher Man" by Frank McCourt. I haven't read his earlier memoirs "Angela's Ashes" or "'Tis" (and I own both). The author talked a little bit about his childhood, but mostly about his experiences as a high school teacher in NYC. I had to get used to his convention of never using quotation marks.
In an eerie coincidence, Stephen Baldwin broke a shoulder and rib in Stephenville, Texas after he was thrown from a bull while taping a TV show in May. I'd better not go to Ellenville, New York.
