Uh-oh, here comes trouble!
"WNBC on Tuesday unveiled its revamped evening lineup aimed at increasing viewership during a competitive timeslot.
Starting Oct. 15, WNBC will include an additional run of Access Hollywood at 4:30 p.m., replacing one episode of Merv Griffin’s Crosswords, which currently plays at both 4 p.m and 4:30 p.m."
New York is the biggest media market, so this can't bode well for the show. I don't know if we'll get to see the episodes that used to be on at 4:30.
Meanwhile, today's program had a clue so awful I had to write it down: "Hold a team to a .000 batting average for a game": NO HIT. The contestant guessed the more grammatically logical SHUT OUT but realized it wouldn't fit. (BULLETIN: While writing this, I was informed that "no-hit" can be used as a verb in this way. I still don't like it.)
