Crossworld
Marc Romano's "Crossworld" arrived from overstock.com yesterday.
Media whore that I am, I immediately looked for myself in the index: just one quick mention. But it's the author's personal view of the 2004 tournament, and I was not a factor last year.
The book looks interesting, though a lot of the author's experience consists of hanging out with Brendan in the bar. I already noticed a few mistakes (e.g., Helene Hovanec was not a college sophomore in 1973).
This could be our "Word Freak," and if one of those documentaries gets made, we should have our "Spellbound."
