BioI'm semi-famous for winning the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament in 2001 on my 13th time in the top 3. I'm convinced this article was the good-luck charm that broke the jinx. I cracked the final 3 again in 2006. I'm fortunate enough to have my hobby as my job: Puzzles, games, trivia - in print, online, and television. It definitely beats the 21 years spent in actuarial work/health insurance statistics. And who knew crosswords would put me in the movies - "Wordplay"! Now available on DVD (and don't forget the companion book).
