Held at the offices of a TV organization, the screening was in a room with a large TV and a few rows of chairs. People jostled for position when they realized the sight lines were not always ideal, but everyone eventually got settled. Set in the filmmakers' hometown of Buffalo and featuring an acclaimed cast, the movie is a feel-good tale of family, found money, con artists, clergy and ballroom dancing. Afterward, 2 of the 5 sisters involved in the production answered questions and discussed the film's long journey.
Reaction to this movie has been mixed, but I found it just as enjoyable as the much slicker "The Holiday."
